NextGen Healthcare enters the revenue cycle management (RCM) market when it acquires Healthcare Strategic Initiatives and Practice Management Partners to help doctors manage billing and payments

Flagship EMR and PM applications are born when QSI combines Clinitec and Micromed to create NextGen Healthcare Information Systems

1997

Micromed joins the QSI family, adding front-and back-office practice management software to the line-up

1996

QSI enters the ambulatory healthcare market with the acquisition of Clinitec, a software provider that converts paper medical records into Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

1995

Company serves 450 clients across the US

1982

On December 10, QSI goes public on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the symbol QSII

1979

QSI incorporates in Irvine, California, as a computer consulting business and becomes the first turn-key customizable practice management solution for dental practices
