NextGen offers unsurpassed mobile solutions, allowing secure access to patient charts remotely in a number of ways.
For instance, NextGen can be configured for use over the Internet or other private networks, subject to security provisions, allowing access to records from virtually anywhere.
Through VPN access or through the purchase of optional Patient Sync software, patient charts can be “checked out” of the main database onto mobile computers based on pre-established user-defined criteria. After patient records are created or updated remotely, the records are easily checked back into the database.
