Register: CMS Provider Call to Cover MU Program
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services will hold a national provider education call on May 19 to explain the Medicare and Medicaid electronic health records meaningful use incentive programs. The 75-minute call will cover the definition of meaningful use, requirements of Stage 1, an overview of meaningful use objectives specification sheets, attesting to meeting meaningful use, and questions and answers. The call is free but registration is required.

    Enhance your understanding of NextGen EHR workflow with specialty-specific workflow sessions. Workflow training courses are listed on the NextGen Training web page. Select “Electronic Health Records” under "Product" (first column) and look for courses beginning with "PHYSICIAN."

    The NextGen Client Advocacy Forum presented extensive comments to CMS, detailing concerns and suggestions for each of the specific criteria. Thank you to everyone who posted.
